What is MIKU ART CHAIR?
Hatsune Miku sings of a world beyond imagination, wrapped in sound. When we come into contact with her existence, we somehow feel a little more inclined to believe in the future. The "MIKU ART CHAIR" is a one-of-a-kind living chair that fuses art and craft, bringing the imagination of Hatsune Miku into the real world as "art to sit on."
The warmth of wood made from Hokkaido ash wood and artworks of Hatsune Miku by contemporary artists. This chair, which combines craft and artistic expression, is not only a piece of furniture, but also a stage set that embraces the heart. A form of art that resonates with Hatsune Miku, sent out towards the future. This is the "MIKU ART CHAIR".

Why Hatsune Miku?
CondeHouse is a furniture manufacturer based in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, with over half a century of craftsmanship. Hatsune Miku, born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, continues to inspire creativity around the world. Though they may seem worlds apart, they share surprising similarities—both driven by a passion to go "from Hokkaido to the world" and a belief in the power of a "chain of creativity."
So, What would happen if this encounter took the form of "delivering a message" rather than "selling something"? The answer was the challenge of "putting art on a chair." A way to welcome Hatsune Miku into one's own space, into one's life.
That is the origin of "MIKU ART CHAIR".

Craftsmanship
Surrounded by the majestic Daisetsu Mountains, Asahikawa is a region where the woodworking industry has flourished thanks to its abundant forest resources. Since its founding in 1968, CondeHouse has remained committed to craftsmanship rooted in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
At CondeHouse, we observe the unique character of each piece of wood and bring out its individuality. By skillfully combining various materials such as fabric and cushioning, we create furniture that offers true comfort. In our factory, the craftsmanship of skilled artisans works in harmony with advanced machinery to produce furniture that embodies both beauty and comfort.

The challenge of co-creation between creators and artists
The "MIKU ART CHAIR" was a challenge that united diverse craftsmanship with one goal. Two-dimensional artwork was transformed into a chair back of organic curves and soft cushions. To achieve this, the millimeter-level precision of a seamstress and the skilled hands of an upholsterer were essential. The result is a beautiful, comfortable chair that preserves the artwork’s appeal. Each delicate step naturally fits the human body and brings harmony to the space. This is how true furniture—where sensibility meets technology—is born.
